KMC Hospital in Mangaluru said he had seen an increase in the number of people who chose the IgG antibody test.
Between January and June, 662 people chose the test.
While the 86 tests were carried out in January, 143 tests were carried out in June.
“The majority of those who are looking for tests are people who have recovered from Covid-19,” said Dr.
Basavaprabhu, consultant, internal treatment, KMC.
“We also have people who have recovered from Covid and want to know whether they should immediately take a vaccine or postpone for some time.”
