Jammu / Srinagar: The valley remains boiling with a face-off between security forces and terrorists on Sunday.
While a terrorist was killed in a meeting in Thanamandi in Rajouri District J & K in the morning, a sub-inspector surrendered to his wounds after terrorists attacked the police party in the Khanyar area in Srinagar.
Operation in Thanamandi continued late on Sunday night.
Security forces fired several rounds of suspicion of terrorists who caused vengeance and gun battles.
“Based on specific input, Cordon is placed and the search operation is done this morning by a team with the Army, Police and Special Operations Group (SOG) in Dori Maal and Barote Village,” said the police source additional police.
