After the storm, come another storm.
Even when rainwater from a surprisingly surprising weekend spell has not receded from several parts of the city, the IMD has issued a red warning (very heavy rainfall) for the city and neighboring districts on November 11 triggered by the Bengali weather system.
The low pressure system above the bay will increase to depth depression and close to the North Tamil Nadu beach on November 11.
The red warning for November 11 and 12 also applies to many countries coastal districts because the system tends to carry heavy rain (above 200mm) for several areas on the way to the beach.
“This system is close to the coast as depression.
Rainfall will be intense at night.
The main date for heavy spells on many parts of the country is 10 and 11 November.
After November 11, there may be some relief,” said N Puvarasan, Area Cyclone Warning Center , IMD.
While many South coastal districts are likely to get a very heavy spells over remote places on November 10, the action shifts to the North District on November 11 when the system approaches the beach.
In the estimated night of Tuesday, IMD said low pressure in the Southeast Bulk Bengal now lies in the center of the South Bay Bengal.
“It is very likely to concentrate into depression in the southwest and side by side of Southeast Bulk for the next 24 hours.
This is likely to reach near the Tamil Nadu North Beach in early November 11,” said the agency.
On Tuesday, Nungambakkam and Meenambakkam enrolled 11.1mm and 1.9mm rain until 5:30 a.m.
even when a short light spell continued in several parts of the city and the suburbs.
Many districts, except Nagapattinam with 152mm, recorded light to moderate rain until Tuesday night.
“The possibility of inundation and local inundation water in many places cannot be ruled out during this rainfall period because the system will move closer to the beach.
The most affected area will be puducherry and karaisa,” said the weather skymet in its online post.
