Gurgaon: It’s been a year since the beginning of the company of Manesar City (MCM), but the new Civic Agency has been very little offered to residents of new sectors to date.
Last December, when the Khattar government decided to form MCM – the second city corporation in Gurgaon – promised to improve civil facilities in new sectors and villages side by side with its limits.
However, in the past year, all that MCM can do on behalf of development work in the new sectors is to build a road about 1 km in front of Vipul Lavanya in sector 82.
MCM officials say they are helpless even after one year, still there Confusion over jurisdiction and the role of the civil body as a transfer of assets from various civil institutions has not been completed.
In addition, from Senstioned 1,481, there are only 36 regular staff, while 25 MCG officials hold additional fees at MCM.
The corporation does not even have its own office – they work in the temporary office in the HSIIDC building in Manesar.
As a result, residents were very disappointed.
“When MCM is formed, we are pleased with the hope of getting better citizenship services after years of ignoring.
But for our disappointment, it has not been able to bring a lot of change.
Most civil services in the new sectors are with the authority of Gurugram Metropolitan Development (GMDA ) or Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), “said Rao Dharamveer Singh, President Mapsko Casabella Rwa in Sector 82.
The need to have other city companies emerged due to rapid urban border expansion in Gurgaon.
GMDA, which is responsible for the maintenance of Master Civic Services in all sectors, does not have wing sanitation to meet the population increase in new sectors.
MCM, however, has so far failed to rent an agency for collecting waste and scientific disposal within its boundaries.
Similarly, corporations have not been able to get allegations of services such as water, waste, street lights, roads, walkways and green belts, because most of these services are still under other institutions including the Department of Public Health, HSVP, HSIIIDC and GMDA.
As a result, the civil issue area under MCM is not handled properly.
So far, the maintenance of street lights in the HSIIDC area and the road below PWD has been transferred to MCM.
The Pancrayat area is also under the corporation.
“While Panchayats took care of waste management, there is an urgent need to have a city corporation to overcome problems in urban areas.
In addition to a large talk about the separation of waste, nothing is done in the past year, because MCM has not hired an agent until now.
Garbage piles can be seen In various locations.
In addition, when MCM has not taken an important service in the new sectors, they must see alternative sources for income rather than imposing property taxes in the population, “said Praveen Malik, Vice President of the New United Gurugram Association.
Mcm Commissioner Munish Sharma, meanwhile, said they faced many challenges over the past year.
“During the second wave, almost all of our employees were assigned to import duties.
Initially, we did not have full-time employees and our team only developed now.
Every time a new institution was made, they tended to face some teeth issues that limited progress.
We have started job development In all areas of Panchayat and the sector under our jurisdiction, including road construction and maintenance.
“The corporation also has a green area and develops the park and open gymnasium, he said.
“We have started bringing jobs included in our jurisdiction.
We are preparing for Swachh Survekshan and the tender for the Door-to-Door collection has floated.
We also build public toilets and create awareness among bulk waste generators.
Every development work will be carried out gradually.
“When contacted, Badshapur MLA Rakesh Daultabad said,” MCM’s policy is in its place .
If they fail to do so, they will be taken to task.
“Meanwhile, Satyaprakash Jrawta, Mla of Pataudi said,” After the initial hiccups, MCM has begun working in villages and begin construction of the road in front Vipul Lavanya and society carnation Orris.
There has been a significant increase in sanitation and internal roads.
Peng jobs The development occurs at high speed and most projects will be completed on March 31.
