Earlier this year Apple launched an airtag – a cool tracking device to find lost items among other things.
While the high utility value at airtag, people can get ‘creative’ with them for fun too.
YouTuber decided to send an airtag to the CEO of Apple Tim Cook, according to a report by 9to5mac.
The airtag was sent from Frankfurt in Germany and with the help of Apple found my network, youtuber could find it in several places.
For example, airtag is in DHL, airport or when leaving various countries.
The airtag sent to Cook was also located in Nevada, we and YouTuber found that the flight brought the package to fly over the place.
Obviously, airtag ping to iPhone passengers on the plane and can send the location to find me.
According to the report, the airtag was sent for cooking staying at Apple Park in Cupertino for six weeks before being sent back to Germany.
What is also in? A letter written by Apple – signed by one of the Cook’s assistants – sent to YouTuber.
This short letter is in full: Dear Jonathan, Thank you for sharing your project for Apple Airtags.
We are happy to hear about creative use for airtags and how they can improve the lives of our customers.
As you can imagine, Mr.
Cook receives hundreds of letters every month from customers like you.
Unfortunately he can’t respond to every request.
But we hope you continue to enjoy your airtag because it returns from his unique trip around the world! Obviously, the airtag worked very well with Apple found my network as shown by YouTuber on his way.
No wonder Apple was quite happy with it.
The report also mentioned that YouTuber sent airtag to the Tesla Elon Musk CEO too.
“The airtag sent to Elon Musk arrived at the SpaceX headquarters and lived there for two and a half weeks, when it was then detected in the recycling center before the last signal in Castaic, California,” added the report.
