Chandrapur: Minister of Environment and Tourism Aaditya Thackeray visited Chandrapur on Sunday to take the inventory of rejuvenation and evenly with a historic Ramala lake in the city.
On Monday, Thackeray will visit the Ash pool in Nandgaon near Nagpur at 11:15 a.m.
Towards Chandrapur Thackeray’s visit, the Yogeshwar Dudhpachare neighborhood said the Minister also had to pay attention to the problems relating to the river Irai Skirting City, which was dying because indifferent administration.
Dudhpachare, a professor, said that Lifeline’s Irai from Chandrapur City and the industry in the area.
“Fly ash from the Super Thermal Power Station (CSTP) chandrapur has deposited on the basis of the river.
The river is the main source of water for CSTP which is Mahagenco’s largest power plant in the state, the city of Chandrapur and the fields along the stretch,” he said.

Thackeray’s visit to Nandgaon near Nagpur came a few days after MPCB asked the Khaparkheda thermal power plant to immediately stop the disposal of the ash fly in the village following the minister’s direction.
Following complaints from Leena Buddhe, founder and director of the Sustainable Development Center, a team of scientists from Moefcc had checked the ash pool and directed Mahagenco to take corrective steps.
From Nanndgao, Thackeray will return to Nagpur in the afternoon.
The meeting will be held at 14:00 with tourism development officials, followed by meetings about the ‘Majhi Vasundhara’ campaign.
Thackeray will inaugurate the Nagpur Flying Club at 6pm and leave for Mumbai at 8:30 a.m.
