Chandigarh: The AAM AADMI Party (AAP) on Monday announced five candidates for the next assembly election in Punjab.
According to the list of the seventh party candidates, Lalli Majithia has been given a ticket from the Majitha Assembly chair.
Majithia had come out of the congressional party and joined AAP on 1.
January at this time, the Majitha seat was represented by the leader of Bikram Singh Majithia.
Ajay Gupta will compete from the Amritsar center seat, Kashmir Singh Sohal from Tarn Taran, Surinder Singh Sodhi from Jalandhar Cantt and Baljit Kaur from Malout, AAP said.
The total number of candidates announced by the Punjab’s main opposition party has now reached 101.
Punjab has 117 assembly seats.
