New Delhi: AAM AADMI MLA Raghav Chadha on Tuesday launched ‘Mission Sahara’, an initiative for assistance and helping the transgender community in his book the constituency of Rajinder Nagar.
Chadha is distributed a free ration kit among the transvestite community in its electoral district under the initiative.
The mission was planned after Chadha was approached by local DM along with a non-profit organization to help Covid-19 hit transgender community pandemics.
Chadha has deployed a different team of volunteers to identify and prepare a ration kit for around 100 transgender people, who cannot afford to access Ransum Kit through the existing AAP government distribution scheme.
The team will complete the KYC and other documentation needed in order to bring them under the scope of the government quota scheme.

Offering free ration kits is a small step to support them.
