New Delhi: The Delhi Court on Thursday ordered suicide agriculture, extortion, and other fees for AAP MLA Prakash Jarwal due to the alleged case of suicide of a doctor in South Delhi last year.
Dr.
Rajendra Singh, 52, allegedly committed suicide in Durga Vihar in South Delhi on April 18, 2020.
In a suicide record, the doctor was allegedly holding the jarwal for his death.
Like Jarwal, Singh was also involved in the water supply business with the Delhi Board since 2007, and the police accused MLA and his colleagues extorted money from other tanker owners, including doctors.
Goelanjli’s special judge also ordered the framing of allegations towards Jarwal near Aide Kapil Nagar, said there was a “prime facie” sufficient proof against them.
The court ordered the Framing of Charges below 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 386 (extortion by placing a person in fear of death or sad pain), 384 (extortion), and 506 (suicide reduction), and 306 (ABET) below IPC.
The court, meanwhile, was issued by co-disydang for violations under Section 306 and 386 IPC but ordered cost framing for criminal intimidation violations.
The court resisted that while there were allegations of sustainable harassment in the hands of Jarwal and Nagar which Prima Facie created a situation where the deceased had no choice but to commit suicide, but in connection with Hamish, except reference to its name in three places.
In the diary, it appears that there is no reference from certain actions or incidents where it has taken intentional actions or negligence or harassing the deceased’s money or extorting it from it.
It was seen that there was enough material on the record to Prima Facie showing that the defendant Prakash Jarwal and Nagar Kapil squeezed the owner of the deceased and other tankers, the court said.
“Furthermore, it was seen that there was enough material in the note to Prima Facie showing that Jarwal and Nagar extorted Dr.
Rajinder who died threatening to kill him and his family if he did not pay his tanker with DJB,” it noted.
The case of extortion and suicide reduction was submitted against Jarwal, representing the Constituency of the Deoli Assembly, and others based on police complaints by the doctor’s son – Hemant.
FIR said Singh was threatened and intimidated by Jarwal and others.
The police said their investigation showed that the money was squeezed from the owner of the tanker was directed through the Mla Anil Jarwal brother and invested in several farms and farm houses in Delhi, Gurugram (Haryana), and Jaipur (Rajasthan).
They said they had found the WhatsApp group on behalf of the owner of the tanker whose administrator was Kapil Nagar, Aidge and Jarwal’s maid.
Jarwal is one of its members.
The details clearly showed the second direct involvement accused of running a tanker mafia in Sangam Vihar and Tigri, police said.
