New Delhi: The Delhi government again sent files in the Dorstep shipping of Ration to Lieutenant Governor of Anil Baijal for his approval, the official source said on Tuesday.
The file was sent to Baijal twice early but he did not give approval.
“The file has been sent to L-G after the Delhi High Court order that has not yet lived in front of the door of the backpack scheme,” said a source.
The high court in the order on September 30 has directed the Delhi government to publish communication to all reasonable price shop dealers to tell them about the ration card holders who have chosen to receive their backpacks on the doorstep.
The court just said after that, a fair price shop dealer was not required to be supplied with the PDS beneficiary ration that chose the door shipment.
The Delhi government scheme for sending door backpacks, Mukhymantri Ghar Ghar Ransum YOJNA, challenged by Delhi Sarkari Dealer Ration Sangh.
Senior advocate of K v Vishwanathan, appearing for the Delhi government, has submitted that the court has not yet been implemented a scheme for sending grains or food flour from the door to the door.
