Letter: Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (Cyss), the wing of AAP students, performed by a Dharna at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) on Monday demanded action against those responsible for the assessment of the answer book.
More than 200 students participated in Dharna.
The students demanded to make representation to the Chancellor’s representative.
But in the absence of VC, registration in-charge Jaydeep Chaudhary accepts memorandum.
Gheraoed Chaudhary students for more than an hour over this problem.
Initially the students locked the entrance gate of the University Administration Building.
When the protest continued, Chaudhary finally came to receive a memorandum.
“We have sent memorandum to VNSGU and demanded action immediately two days ago.
Because there were no actions taken, we held Dharna on Monday,” Cyss said.
The students accused that the answer book was not carefully examined because many students had to face injustice in results.
