PANAJI: AAP’s Vision Manifesto for Panaji released on Tuesday promised to make world-class city capital by creating alternative sources of income, holding half a year ‘Ward Sabhas’, and preserving the legacy and cultural sites rich in Panaji.
“The party will hold Ward Sabhas every six months if elected to the office.
It will be similar to the Sabhas gram held in the villages.
Legislators will be accompanied by the council, PWD officials, police and smart city officials to hear people’s problems,” said the Panji candidate Valmiki rose.
Power Minister Delhi Satyendar Jain, along with up and other AAP officials, released the Vision of the Manifesto Party for Panaji.
Outlining his vision for the city, rising said he aims to create an alternative source of income that will expand the Panaji economy, which currently depends on the casino.
He added that the aim was to make Panaji a family-friendly tourist destination.
“The ease of living index released in 2020 stated that Panaji was ranked 16th on the ease of life scale.
The city has poor in terms of economic capabilities, sustainability, and perceptions of citizens.
My goal is to bring Panaji into the top 10,” said the Candidate AAP .
“Today, 1,000 ponjekar lives in a slum.
This situation is mainly carried by BJP,” he added.
