AAP: Where does FDCM spend a grant RS1.68CR bamboo board?

Nagpur: AAM AAM ADMI (AAP) has demanded a probe to Crore Rs 1.68 which was released to the corporation of the forest development of Maharashtra (FDCM) by the Bamboo Development Board of Maharashtra (MBDB) under a 100% grant scheme of the National Bamboo Mission (NBM).
Information received under RTI by Social Workers Manoj Wahane revealed that FDCM failed to take advantage of RS 2.43 Crore released under NBM in the last two years by MBDB.
From Rs 2.43 Crore, FDCM gave up Rs 50 Lakh when using Rs 25 Lakh for plantations but failed to say what happened to the remaining Rs 1.68 Crore? In 2018-19, MBDB entrusted FDCM with the task of regulating a bamboo processing unit by providing a 100% grant of Rs 2.43 Crore.
The amount was released to prepare hi-tech bamboo nurseries in one hectare, high density bamboo plantations in 50 hectares, one processing unit for the addition of bamboo values, other units for the use of bamboo waste produced in the primary processing unit, a unit for the craft industry / cottages , one unit to make furniture, bamboo depots and warehouses and demonstration plots to show best practices to farmers.
However, out of the above projects, FDCM gave up Rs 50 Lakh to MBDB which was intended to establish hi-tech technology nurseries without implementing projects.
In a reply to the RTI application, the corporation claimed that he had established a high density bamboo plantation in an area of 50 hectares and also issued a certificate of utilizing RS 25 lakh funds.
However, residence said the location of the plantation has been given or the survival rate.
In connection with the rest of the project, there is no work that has been done in the last three years.
“Because the work on the remaining project is being carried out, detailed information cannot be given,” replied FDCM Pio Darshika Rakhunde.
MBDB RS 1.68 Crore Lying with FDCM since the last 3 years to a delayed project.
Apart from uncontrolled delay, MBDB, which is a nodal agent under the NBM, has not been looking for an explanation from the FDCM also does not have steps to ensure that the above projects are complete.
“Packness by FDCM and MBDB has seized more than 250 rural youths from productive work in the proposed bamboo unit.
We have demanded an investigation and actions of the department to relevant officials until the responsibility for the delay in the implementation of the project was repaired,” said Pratap Goswami, Bamboo and Mantri experts Sanghatan from AAP.
Even when FDCM failed to provide details of Rs 1.68 Crore, in return for Rajya Sabha’s questions raised by Narayan Rane, bamboo unit data arranged by MBDB under the NBM has been provided.
However, AAP accused the figures provided in Rajya Sabha’s reply that did not match the actual unit in the field.
