Thiruvananthapuram: A group of animal lovers in the city has raised several serious charges against the animal birth control center (ABC) Corporation in Thiruvallam where wild dogs are brought to be sterilized.
The group has also approached the police with complaints who tried to investigate the loss of the center of the center, which they suspended because they had to destroy workloads.
Even though the police received their complaints, they had not registered the case.
Crowded dog protection, the carcass found buried in place and the loss of illuminated dogs which was connected to sterilization was several charges against the center.
The complainant, which is some young people who regularly feed the streets, say they pay attention to inhumane practices when they visit the ABC center several times over the past week.
They accused that strays brought to the center were forced to cram inside a small cage.
Instead of food cooked, they are fed pet food which is dangerous for stray.
On Thursday, the young activists even found a fresh carcass of a dog buried in the following places after they approached the police Kovalam and filed a complaint.
The inspector of the Kovalam Station House officer said that even though they had not registered a case, the police did have a word with the doctor concerned at the ABC Center as part of an investigation.
“We have not registered a case because the prime facie has no evidence to prove the actions of intentional atrocities,” said the inspector.
The doctors seemed to tell the police that stray was forced to remain under sad conditions due to lack of adequate infrastructure.
Regarding fresh carcasses.
The dug in the central place, the doctors say not all dogs brought to the center are healthy.
Some may not survive the operating procedure.
The average fatal level is 10%.
Corporate officials also did not stop complaints of animal lovers.
Jameela Sreedharan, The chairman, permanent committee (health), said the steps were being taken to improve infrastructure facilities at the center.
“At present we only have two doctors and two surgical tables.
At an average of 10 dogs are brought to the center every day, “he said.
However, he said that the corporation would immediately implement Rs 4.9 Crore projects aimed at increasing infrastructure and labor in the center.
