ABG Shipyard, Directors ordered by CBI in the case of Bank RS 22k CR fraud

New Delhi: The CBI has submitted FIR against the shipping company and his director for allegedly deceiving a consortium company to Tone Rs 22,842 Crore.
Agency has ordered ABG Shipyard and Director of Rishi Agarwal, Sanhanam Muthuswamy, and Ashwini Kumar two years after the company was declared “fraudulency” by the bank.
In accordance with FIR CBI, the company – which is estimated to have built more than 160 ships – owed Rs 7,089 Crores to Icici Bank, Rs 3,634 Crore to Bank IDBI, RS 2,925 Crore to SBI, RS 1,614 Crore to Bank of Baroda and more Rs 1,200 Crore to PNB and Indian foreign banks.
According to the Forensic Audit Report submitted to the CBI by the Bank, the company accused and the director was transferred and misused the number of loans thus carried out criminal acts and violations of trust.
The money was used for other purposes whose purpose funds were released by the bank “, alleged FIR.
