Abhay Verma took part in the role of a young criminal in Manoj Bajpayee-Starrer ‘The Family Man 2’ and the action of her lover-boy-confused-terrorist made her very compliment.
The actor stepped on the foot in the city of dreams almost three years ago and after countless auditions, he finally got several substantial roles.
After sharing a frame with Stalwarts such as Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in advertisements, Abhay was issued by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Young Essay PM Modi in the next production effort.
From Hrithik Roshan ‘Super 30’ to Manoj Bajpayee-Lead ‘The Family Man 2’ and ‘Mann Bairagi’ – Abhay Versma opened his journey in front of the camera.
Quote:

You are a junior artist in ‘Super 30’.
What did you learn from Hrithik Roshan?
I started working ‘Super 30’ during my early days in the industry when I just looked for the opportunity to be set.
And to be set where Hrithik Roshan appears in front of you and Vikas Bahl is directing, is a real experience of 10-15 days.
I learned a lot about crafts and inspired me to push more.
I learned how to stay positive, perform well, and how to behave in the set.
‘Super 30’ inspired me to give everything to Bollywood and push my boundaries.
So how ‘The Family Man 2’ happened? I took a more serious audition than shooting because I felt it was the gate between you and your dreams.
I was very nervous because the first part was very successful.
I tense all through auditions and only get more than two.
I wondered if I had done something wrong because it succeeded so fast but then I was chosen for the section.
With ‘The Family Man 2’, I learned a lot.
I did not share a frame with Manoj sir but when our shoots clashed, I had to observe him carefully.
He is an institution in itself; He has a clear differentiation between his personal and professional life.
He is a very jumit person and ensures that everyone feels comfortable working with him.
In one moment, he was very happy, and immediately after the director called for action, he slipped into an intense scene easily.
Before we shoot at the scene where my character died in the season, he chatted happily with me.
How difficult or easy to get a big break in Bollywood?
It’s just about keeping a positive mindset all the time, especially in this field where 90 percent of things end up as rejection.
In the past three years, I have provided so many auditions that I have calculated.
I believe an actor must know how to handle rejection.
You feel bad that you lost a great opportunity but I never felt like replacing fields.
I have auditioned for Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Jabariya Jodi’ and almost on the final list but did not get a role, and I was destroyed.
But then each director has the different aspects he is looking for, therefore rejection will be in every life of the actor.
You also play PM Narendra Modi at Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the next production of ‘Mann Bairagi’ …
‘Mann Bairagi’ very close to my heart because this is my first feature film.
I feel very proud of the fact that I have bagged a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir.
‘Mann Bairagi’ is a youth-oriented story that inspires, who talks about ‘finding yourself in yourself’.
It was a very interesting experience to learn about the important big incidents that occurred in the adolescence of PM Modi, his friends, and to understand more more; The process is very fun.
I really want to meet Modi PM and show himself but it has been postponed because of a pandemic.
