Bengaluru: India Pacer Abhimanyu Mithun has announced his retirement of all forms of cricket at the age of 31.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Mithun has decided to retire to ‘pursue other income in my career.
Even though he mentioned retirement from first grade cricket, it was believed that he retired from all formats in Indian cricket.
“After serious thinking and contemplation, I, Abhimanyu Mithun, has decided to retire from Cricket first class to pursue another way in my career.
In this case I want to declare it as follows: I have represented my country at the highest level.
And it will always be My biggest achievement.
The excitement and pride of it would be something I would appreciate forever, “said Mithun on Thursday.

In four tests, the latter came in 2011 against West Indies in Barbados, Mithun chose nine noses with the best numbers 4/105.

In five odi, the latter came against West Indies in Chennai 2011, Mithun chose three numbers.

He also appeared in 16 IPL matches and took seven Wickets while representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
