Kanpur: The Kanpur authorities detained BJP leader Narayan Singh Bhadauria along with among the aides from Noida on Friday for assisting desired offender Manoj Singh escape from police custody at town on Wednesday.
Singh was traced and arrested in the town’s Naubasta region on Friday.
Shortly after his arrest, the Bhadauria was expelled from the party.
Added CP (Law & Order) Akash Kulhary told TOI,”Narayan Singh Bhadauria together with his two aides — Rocky Yadav along with Gopal Sharan Chauhan — were detained in a flat in Noida, although desired offender Manoj Singh, who had been assisted by Bhadauria along with his aides in his own escape had been nabbed from close a private hospital at Barra-8 region of the town” “Those detained from Noida happen to be attracted to Kanpur for additional questioning,” said ACP, including,”So far, five people have been detained in the event.
One Randhir Singh Tomar was detained by the authorities from the town on Thursday itself.
