Lucknow: The Muslim Personal Law Council of the All-India (AIMPLB) has called the proposed civil code of code (UCC) ‘is not constitutional and cannot be run for diverse countries such as India.
The council urges that the central government reconsidering its aggressive attitude towards obtaining the UCC which is applied in the country and concentrates on real problems such as education, work, inflation, health infrastructure and political crisis, undermining our existence.
In his video statement, the Secretary of the Council and Spokesman Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani reiterated that the country gave everyone the right to live and practice their choice of religion.
“Bringing the UCC will only come in a fundamental way for all Indian citizens.
There are more cons as the clear benefits of the UCC.
It contradicts Sharia (Muslim religious law), legal rights and social and cultural aspects of Life of different citizens in this country, “said Maulana Rahmani.

He also said that certain tribes in the country have moved away from the rebellion because of this agreement and the right to practice their lives on their own terms and conditions.
“UCC can cause peaceful disintegration if the tribes stand in rebellion.
We strongly urge the government not to interfere with this integrated diversity and concentrate on real problems,” he added.
