Abu: Ollie Robinson needs to be fit, said Bowling coach

British fast bowler Ollie Robinson must improve his fitness to deal with the cricket test demands, coach Bowling Jon Lewis said after the 28-year-old child suffered a back spasm on the opening day of the last ash test against Australia on Friday.
Robinson took the initial goal in Hobart, sent David Warner and Steve Smith to duck, but then sustained back the back problem that limited his bowling to eight overs.
Australia, who enjoyed a 3-0 lead which could not be denied in the five-test series, ended the first day of the Pink-Ball contest at 241-6.
“(Fitness) is something he needs to increase”, said Lewis.
“He has a record of playing lots of cricket district games but international cricket has a higher intensity and you play it throughout the year.” So he must be used to understanding what is needed for the whole year of international cricketer international and plays the extra day, five days of test cricket.
“Robinson has taken 37 goals in eight tests for England since his debut against New Zealand in Lord’s in June last year.
Lewis hopes Robinson can recover and return for Bowling on Saturday.” These things can come and go so we hope with Last night treatment he could come back tomorrow and quite free for a bowl.
