Mumbai: From his duty as a student leader in the ABVP RSS-Affiliate to become a key member of the BJP Coordination Panel for the 12th and 13th Sabha Lok selection to work as minister in the Maharashtra government earlier in 2014, Vinod Tawde has always become organizational organizations for Safron party.
Senior BJP leader, which is believed to be a political rival of former Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, has increased to the position of BJP Secretary General on Sunday ahead of the assembly election in five states, including Uttar Pradesh politically, Punjab and Uttarakhand.
Tawde, who is the BJP National Secretary, was appointed to the position of Secretary General to fill vacancies made after Bhupender Yadav became the Union minister.
Tawde began his political career as a student leader at Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
He continued to serve as Indian Secretary General of ABVP.
He also worked as Secretary of BJP organizing, North Maharashtra, before becoming the Secretary General of the BJP State.
Tawde then became MLC and then opposition leader during 2011 and 2014.
He has served as President of the BJP Mumbai unit too.
He is a key member of the BJP Coordination Committee for the 12th and 13th Sabha polls.
Tawde became MLA for the first time from the constituency of the Borivali Assembly in Mumbai in 2014.
From 2014 to 2019, Tawde was the Minister of Education in the Fadnivis Government.
He was rejected by tickets to oppose the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly poll.
