Vadodara: Student Leader Owned by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Indian National Student Association (NSUI) stribs a fight on the College Polytechnic University campus on Monday.
A student leader connected with ABVP was injured during a fight which continued until late afternoon.
The two groups were not blocked by the presence of the police and staff of the University’s alertness.
Student leaders who received minor injuries were transferred to the SSG hospital managed by the state for treatment.
The police have arrested two student leaders connected with NSUI.
The AbvP leaders accused one of their workers beaten by NSUI leaders at the college campus on Monday morning.
Some social media posts lead to the fight, said source.
“After one student was beaten by NSUI leaders, our workers went to make a representation before the main main action against criminals.
Two NSUI leaders reached there and began to threaten our workers.
They even claimed that the police could not endanger them,” said Abvp leader Himalaysinh Zala, added that they had submitted a complaint to the police Fatehgunj.
Police officials said that the groups were face-to-face for the old dispute.
“We have heard both sides and will take the necessary actions,” said a police officer.
