Lucknow: When India entered the 75th year of independence, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was set to beg ‘Rashtravad’ (Nationalism) across the length and breath of the country by tracing his disciples, Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP), to lead ‘Yatra’ Tiranga ‘ on August 15.
The idea is to reach people at grassroots and involve them in the ‘Rashtravad’ campaign from RSS by covering each village in the country in general and Uttar Pradesh in particular.
The impact of the campaign will definitely be felt in the state because ABVP will not only stretch tricolor but also motivates people in the village to celebrate the 75th year of independence.
ABVP Regional Organizational Secretary, Ghanshyam, said ‘Ek Gaon, the Tiranga Ek campaign will be launched to involve people from the village.
“The main guest campaign in the villages will be someone, regardless of caste or creed, which has influenced the people around him through good deeds.
He can become a carpenter, a haircase or anyone who aspires to become a soldier man, “Ghanshyam said.
Interestingly, analysts see this as an effort by RSS to reach villagers to tell them about the idea of nationalism and create strong ideological forces at grassroots.
The source said that with the election in Uttar Pradesh less than seven months, the creation of strong strength at the village level would push forward the agenda of RSS and BJP.
Speaking of this program, Ghanshyam said, “In each village, one coordinator will become a member of ABVP, the other, from their respective villages, will be responsible for the flag lifting.” The village coordinator will take part in the program enthusiastically if it can associate itself ideologically with RSS, the source said, adding that labor or additional coordinators at the village level will be useful during the BJP selection campaign.
“This coordinator will be supervised at the district level by the committee formed for that purpose,” said Ghanshyam, added that even in urban areas, the lifting of the flag will be carried out in areas inhabited by transgender and in leprosy centers.
“The time to lift tricolor throughout the state has been determined between 8am and 10:30,” said Ghanshyam.
The BJP youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, has also been assigned to regulate the program to mark the 75th independence year.
BJYM workers from the six regions of the BJP organization will take ‘Tiranga Yatra’ on a motorcycle.
These workers will travel for 75 kilometers and gather at a point to lift tricolor.
