Jaipur: Tanggling a Big Corruption Racket in the Zone 4 Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested five government officials, including Rajasthan Administrative Service Officials (RAS), for taking bribes to give a ‘PIPTA’ (land dating) and certificate Land conversion.
Those who were arrested were Deputy Commissioner of Mamta Yadav, Zone 4; Shyam Malou junior engineer; Additional Administrative Officer Vijay Meena; Akhilesh Kumar employee contract; and accountant ramtofan.
ACB also won almost 8 lakh rs from the defendant who was arrested.
ACB Additional Director General (ADG) M N Dinesh stated that the Bureau had received complaints for a long time allegating that some officials asked for bribes to issue ‘land conversion papers’ and land.
“It was found that Mamta Yadav was accused, deputy commissioner, zone 4, JDA, demanded bribery to publish land and paper conversion papers.
Similar requests made by other defendants, contract computer operators Akhilesh Kumar, Ramoofan account assistant, Junior Engineer Shyam Maloo, and Assistant Administration Officer (AAO) Vijay Meena, all zones 4, “said Dinesh while talking to Ti.
The problem was revealed when the complainant approached ACB, alleged that all JDA officials had demanded bribes when he applied for a land of Patta for 400 square meters.
“On Monday, we arrested all the defendants.
Shyam Maloo received a bribe of Rs 1 lakh and Vijay Meena Rs 10,000.
Others, including Mamta Yadav race officers, were arrested because of their bribery requests made,” said Dinesh.
After arrest, the raid was carried out in a housing area of ​​all the defendants.
“We recovered the RS 3.5 Lakh from Ramoofan’s residence, Rs 2.5 Lakh from the residence of Akhilesh, Rs 1 Lakh from the residence of Vijay Meena, Rs 1.46 lakh from Mamta Yadav, and Rs 50,000 from Shyam Maloo’s residence,” said ACB Additional SP Bajrang Singh.
Raids continued at their residence until late at night.
ACB has registered a case under various parts of the prevention of corruption law against all fifth.
