JAIPUR: A day after regaining the deputy general director of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) and a middlemen while they have been exchanging pay cash, the ACB on Monday detained four persons including a revenue officer of HPCL to exactly the identical corruption racket.
Though the sleuths had regained Rs 1 lakh in the detained DGM on Sunday, the ACB captured Rs 2.82 lakh by a revenue officer of the business on Monday.
The ACB on Sunday had detained that the DGM of HPCL published in Kota plus also a middlemen while exchanging pay funds of Rs two lakh.
“Following their arrests, we netted four persons involved with the racket on Monday.
The detained included Kapil Vijay, nephew of all middlemen Kishan Vijay, Pradeesh Sharma, the owner of this Deepsikha Petrol pump in Niwai at Tonk, Avinash, a member of DGM Rajesh Kumar Singh, also Vandit Kumar, also a revenue officer of HPCL,” stated ACB DG BL Soni.
He stated,”Kapil Vijay followed his uncle while they’d passed on the bribe money to Rajesh Kumar Singh.
Along with the accused proprietor of the gas pump would be the person who had shipped the bribe of Rs two lakh and consequently ignored the irregularies in his gas pump.
And Vandit is a part of this bribery network” The accused DGM and middlemen Kishan Vijay were accepted to threeday police custody.
“Others such as Kapil Vijay, Pradeesh Sharma and Avinash were sent to judicial custody while the Cuban accused Vandit could be made in court Tuesday,” he further added.
The sleuths have regained Rs 1 lakh in the residence of Rajesh Singh.
“We’ve regained Rs 2.82 lakh in Vandit,” stated a senior officer.
