ACB search pollutes 3 GST Officer houses

Letter: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Sleuth conducted a search in three residences in the deputy of the GST country commissioner, Narshinh Pandore, in the city, Gandhinagar and Bhiloda.
Pandore’s wife is an additional collector currently posted in Gandhinagar.
The ACB team, led by police inspector s n Desai and Chauhan, Nabbed Pandore and his colleague Kishore Patel, lawyer and tax consultant, Dharmesh Goswami and Vinay Patel, both Kishore employees when receiving bribes from a businessman.
Pandore demands bribery from a complainant to reactivate the number of his partnership company which is blocked because the company does not pay GST for 2015-16.
“The ACB team is looking at three Padore residence in Bhiloda, Gandhinagar and in a government place in the Athwaline area.
ACB collects details related to Padore’s wealth,” said an ACB officer.
When submitting the report, the search is still active, said the source.
Three accused, Kishore, Goswami and Vinay were arrested from the former office at the Wood Square building at L P Savani Road.
As soon as the bribery was paid, ACB also arrested Padore from his office in Nanpura.
Atore initially demanded RS 2 lakh in bribery to reactivate the GST number.
The first complainant took Rs 50,000 and was asked to reduce the number after Pandore agreed to receive Rs 1 lakh.
“On Friday the lawyers received the money and asked his employees to count it.
He then asked for one of them to go and pay for Padore when ACB arrested them,” ACB’s official said.
