Mumbai: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has issued a new call to former Police Commissioner Mumbai Param Singh, to appear in front of the body on February 3 in connection with open questions against him.
Previously, Singh had sent a letter to ACB who stated that because of a pandemic and as he was based in Chandigarh, he would appear before the body after the third week of January.
“We have issued a new call to Singh to personally appear in front of us in February 3.
We have sent a call and we hope he accepts it and will appear before us,” said an official.
This is ACB’s third call to Singh.
Singh previously failed to appear before ACB made two open questions against him to the alleged complaints of corruption.
ACB is doing two open questions, one about complaints from Police Inspector Anup Dange and others about complaints of Inspector Bhimrao Ghadge.
Some of the Cemara was registered last year against Singh after his letter bomb accused that the former minister at Anil Deshmukh’s house had asked the police inspector who was dismissed by Sachin Waze to collect RS 100 Monthly Crore (weekly collection) from the beer bar and other companies.
Due complaints related to November 2019 when he was attached to the Marg Marg Police Station.
Dange goes to check the pub operating in the building, then the candy appetizer when a pub owner tries to press it to operate beyond the specified time limit, claiming he has a close connection with the Singh Bir which is DG ACB.
Then, fighting fights outside the pub and grandson of the film producer Bharat Shah was arrested for allegedly attacking the police.
The pub-bar owner was also ordered in this case.
Dange has accused Singh to suspend and ordered an investigation of the department against him in 2020 to protect Mumbai’s pub owner in a criminal case.
Dange was suspended on July 18, 2020.
He accused someone who claimed to be a cousin of Singh related to him and demanded a large number to revoke his suspension.
