PANAJI: The parents of a student Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Valpoi, have written to the Bombay High Court in Goa, begging that things related to property disputes where school stands are accelerated.
Parents say that because the problem of housing schools cannot build a compound wall.
When the Institute was surrounded by Mhadei wildlife sanctuary in Masordem, Valpoi, students and teachers who live on campus carry out the risk of attacks on wild animals.
About 30cres of land was allocated by the state government to JNV in 1989.
The school was intended to serve rural children.
However, in the early 2000s disputes over land ownership emerged …
state government and Navodaya Samittee had appealed before the high court in this matter.
About 310 parents then filed a direct petition and the court gave permission to make repairs to the building.
But parents said the building was surrounded by forests.
“There are examples of wild animals such as bison, wild boar, leopards and reptiles and also cattle entering at night and are very dangerous for the life of the ward and teacher,” said the parents of Subodh Desai in the letter.
“From 2005, and so on, the PTA School together with the owners of the main land and the North Goa collector had met with every major minister and also presented the minister of the Head of Pramod Sawant and Advocate General of the State several times.
However, to this day there was no positive solution taken , “Desai had told the high court.
It is the responsibility of the state to provide a clear title of the title for the type of institution, he said.
The desire letter to the High Court begs that the appropriate order in these matters is passed in “a reasonable time frame ‘.” This might note that I am worried about the safety of our students and teachers.
I don’t have another personal interest in the initial or timely hearing about this appeal, “Desai said.
