Guwahati: Students and Guardians want to enter the top universities in Delhi and Assam because the cut-off sign can rise suddenly under this year’s formula-based evaluation.
In the midst of speculation the third wave of Covid, some guardians are still hesitant to send their men and women to study in other parts of the country.
In such circumstances, premier institutions such as Cotton University in Guwahati can be under pressure to accommodate the top players.

(Aasa), New Delhi, on Friday launched Helpdesk Online for Assam students who were willing to get entrance tickets in the National College in the National Capital.
Aasa, one of the leading student organizations from the northeast in Delhi, has offered assistance to state students during reception for years.
Since the days of students, Ranjan Bikash, now an Aasa advisor, has never faced such worries during the entry season.
But with more than 99% on the class XII CBSE board and the percentage of ‘extraordinarily high’ passed in the X Assam Council exam, Ranjan and other student guidelines were in place.
They might think twice before suggesting a college to the candidate.
“We speculate that the percentage of passes and the overall performance of students will be suddenly high this year under the evaluation formula.
In countries such as Assam, where students usually get a lower sign compared to CBSE students, the entry in Du Colleges will do it Be a real test, “said Ranjan.
Last year, many students planned to move to Delhi, finally receiving entrance tickets in Guwahati because of the Covid situation.
But many others managed to get entrance tickets in college du-affiliates, even though they had to use online classes.
The scenario might be different this time, indirectly because of Covid but because of a higher mark.
“How does college du-affiliates accommodate so many high-performance students? Prospective needs to keep their fingers cross,” said Ranjan.
Jonali Das, a mother and school principal from a modern English school, Kahilipara, said, “When testing our patience.
Students pass a very challenging time.”
“Anxiety is everywhere, the result, entering, what should be learned and where, the danger of infection and the most important, does not recognize the attitude of the people because this is the ‘formula results’ this year,” he added.
Because of the situation induced by Covid, some students in the city were even reported to reject full scholarships from several universities in other cities.
However, there are other parts of students and teachers who feel safe because of online education, preferably throughout the country.
“Many of our students are registered with colleges and universities outside the northeast during Covid.
In online education mode, it is not a problem where a student is registered.
In the end, they must join the class of the house,” said Sarmistha Chakraborty, a teacher in Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Barsajai.
Tanisha Dey, who passed the XII class examination with 96.2% of Kendriya Vidyalaya, CRPF in Amerigog, said that despite all the difficulties, he would try to enter into the economic award in college du-affiliates.
“Covid can’t stop us from achieving our dreams.
Will it be an online or offline education, I will try our best to get an entrance ticket at a college in Delhi or Kolkata,” Tanisha said.
But he is also worried about high pieces that will play a role.
