Acceptance of Vax for children could not be a problem in Noida, Ghaziabad, say a doctor

Noida / Ghaziabad: Doctors have welcomed the recommendation of the Indian Narcotics Control Expert Committee (DCGI) for emergency approval to Covaxin for the age group 2-18.
About 30-35% of the total population in Noida and Ghaziabad falls in this age group.
Medical experts say that while there may be early doubts, vaccines are likely to be accepted by all parents.
In Noida, there were 63,330 covid patients so far, with around 6,000 of them in the age group 2-18.
While 2,020 patients were in the age group 0-10, 4,093 in the age group 11-20.
Ghaziabad, who reported 55,665 cases, had 4,091 patients in the age group 2-18, according to the Ministry of Health data.
This means that children in this age group consist of at least 8% of the total affected covid patients in Noida and Ghaziabad.
