Lucknow: Following a sustainable increase in the number of new cases and active Covid-19 infections, the Uttar Pradesh Government imposed hours of night (10 nights to 6 am) in all 75 countries.
Until now, the night was enacted in districts where the number of cases actively crossed 1000-mark.
The decision in this case was taken at the Tim-9 meeting, the core team was chosen by CM Yogi Adityanath to deal with Covid waves, here on Sunday.
The government also directs the closure of all educational institutions until January 16.
Studies through online media can continue so that the examination and academic schedule are not affected.
Meanwhile, reviewing vaccination status in the state, CM Yogi Aditakath directs health officials to intensify the ongoing vaccination drive and saturate all populations that meet the requirements on January 15.
UP is home to 1.4 crores under 18 teenagers who are eligible for vaccination and so far.
23.7 lakh from them has taken the first dose.
