Accused of hurting religious sentiments, Arora was held from Panchkula

Ludhiana: Police Commissioners on Thursday arrested Anil Arora, who was ordered for hurting religious sentiments on October 20 after the audio clip became a viral.
The police previously arrested those who had protected him and also announced a 1-lakh Hospital prize for his police information.
The investigation agency (CIA) staff-3, led by Inspector Bealant Juja, caught Arora from Panchkula and the ninth accused of being ordered in this case now behind the bar.
He added Arora had hid in Delhi, Mathura, Haryana, and various parts of the punjab.
This case is registered under Section 295-A (intentional and dangerous actions intended to prevent religious feelings in all classes by insulting religion or religious beliefs) and 153 -a (promoting hostility between different groups of religion, race, place of birth, Place of residence, language, etc., and conduct perreududicated actions for maintenance of harmony) from the Criminal Code in the Division number 3 police station.
He said Arora was produced in front of the local court and was taken from detention to be questioned further.
Bhullar said the commissionation would provide a certificate of praise to the CIA team member for Nabbing Arora.
Other arrests on November 15, the police have arrested the defendant Sanjiv Sharma from Jalandhar.
He was aide near the Scarf Vasu, another key accused that was previously arrested.
The police said Sanjiv was aware of the unpleasant audio clip where Arora’s voice and scarf were recorded and even though he helped the defendant escape and shelter.
