This hotspot includes public places such as metro stations, malls, government schools, police stations and Basti Dawakhana, among others.
Act Fibernet CEO, Bala Malladi, showed almost four lakh people using this service every month in the pre-pandemic period.
The numbers dropped to around one lakh during locking but finally recovered to almost three lakh.
