Noida: The Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) has been written to Noida Authority to take action against pollution violations in a week and submit a report.
The move came after several complaints from city residents.
In a letter, the Commission said that the authorities had failed to take any action in the past two weeks.
“The complaint was also forwarded by the commission to the chairman of Noida …
to examine this problem and take the necessary actions.
However, the report from the chairman was awaited even though the hose was more than two weeks.
Fast action is expected by the authorities concerned in this matter, especially during the period , which is very important for air quality.
Meanwhile, air quality has begun to dip, remaining in the ‘moderate’ category to ‘poor’ ‘, “said the letter to the Noida authority.
The complainant, Amit Gupta, a resident of sector 77, has mentioned that there are several types of violations related to pollution, which is the authorities close the eyes.
He added a picture along with its location that described the problem.
While dust construction is a problem in most areas, other problems include transportation of construction materials revealed, excavation repeatedly by telecommunications companies, road repairs with open materials and no water sprinkling at construction sites.
“We have made several complaints to the authorities, uppcb, CPCB and other departments but no one is interested in taking action against violators.
Immediately, the quality of the air will be very bad and restrictive steps will be imposed on all residents than to punish these violators,” Gupta said.
A senior official from Noida authorities said that he had established a fast response team (QRT) and aid channel to manage complaints related to pollution.
“The department has also asked all contractors to start drizzle and sprinkled water at the construction site.
Smog guns are also installed in a busy area,” the official said.
Meanwhile, air quality has been dipped in the ‘poor’ category in Greater Noida in the last two days and ‘moderate’ in Noida.
Recently, officials said that Caqm in the National Capital Region (NCR) and side by side are considering modifications in certain steps under the ‘very poor’ category of ‘severe’ from the action plan response (tric) to combat Air pollution in the winter months.
The Commission will also review several steps that can be enforced for ‘poor’ in the ‘severe’ pollution days.
