Gurgaon: The delegation of the left politician on Monday met Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg looking for a tight action against those who had made provocative speeches for two Mahapachayats recently in Noah and Pataudi.
“Such events occur with impunity.
Mahapanchayats are being held to divide people on the communal path.
If we do not act now, we will regret later,” said CPI (M) Secretary Zonal SL Prajapati.
Demanding the arrest of the head and spokesman for BJP Karni Sena Suraj Pal Amu, who is a public link in both Panchayats, the delegation said the government had to make a joint effort to ensure the incident did not lead to communal tensions.
“We want actions against leaders such as AMU and Hindu Dharm Raksha Mancha Manchester Leading Om Singh.
The BJP leaders must be accounted for efforts to divide their party members,” said all President of the Indian Democratic Women’s Association Usha Saroha.
Deputy Commissioner Garg told Ti that he had asked the police commissioner to investigate this problem and take appropriate action.
