Action plan to manage Covid waves in place in Madurai

Madurai: District health officials said that the Covid-19 case reported so far in the district was sporadically and no cluster reported.
The district administration is making an effort to ensure that hospitals remain decaled by cooking all Covid-19 patients.
As many as 314 cases were reported in Madurai on Saturday, taking the number of active cases in the district to 649.
Meanwhile, the district administration has come out with an action plan based on the recommendations of high-level committees to ensure infected people get treatment right in time.
District collector Dr S Aneesh Sekhar said that a system was placed to get the RT-PCR test results in 24 hours, followed by triage and proper treatment based on their conditions.
“There must be an exponential increase in the case of Covid-19 fresh.
All cases of Covid-19 report so far have become sporadic and there is no such cluster.
In rural areas, even though the spread is relatively less, there is a possibility of increasing deployment.
The majority of new cases report seeing patients Who does not require hospital admission, “said a health official.
He said testing had also increased from around 2,000 samples a day ago to more than 6,000 now.
At the city limits of Madurai, around 3,500 samples are being tested every day.
The covid-19 district of this district is 2.5%.
According to Putnin Place’s action plan, those who have provided samples for tests must be at home under insulation until the results arrive.
The test was positive having to go to the triage point at the American College and Covid-19 Care Centers (CCC) while they were in rural areas, they had to reach the nearest medical team in PHC or CCC.
Based on the oxygen level and the co-morbidity of the decision will be taken.
Those who have oxygen saturation are below 90% and the breathing rate of more than 30 breaths will rush to the tertiary care hospital.
Those who have 90% up to 93% oxygen saturation, respiratory levels 24 to 30 breaths per minute and have taken doses of vaccines and pregnant women will be accepted at CCCS or hospitals with oxygenated beds.
On the other hand, people with 94% oxygen saturation and above, the respiratory rate of less than 24 breaths per minute and asymptomatics will be subject to quarantine houses.
Special medical teams have formed in cities and rural areas to monitor them under house quarantine for at least one week.
The arrangement is there to shift the house that is quarantined to the hospital if they experience symptoms or difficulty breathing.
The people who are hospitalized will be discarded if they do not show signs of infection for three days.
The district government has also suggested those who tested negatively in the RT-PCR test but have Covid-19 symptoms to take CT scans or other tests to assess the impact of the virus and take appropriate care.
