Gurgaon: City reported 217 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, down from 377 days earlier.
With this, Gurgaon now has 1,493 active cases.
The last time the city had less than 1,500 active cases on January 2, when the figure reached 1,439.
It has the most active case in the current wave on January 21 (25,306).
No Covid death was reported on Wednesday.
Daily front levels fell to 4.4% from 6.2% the day before.
Between January 9 and 28, the level of progress is more than 20%.
According to the Ministry of Health, 39 Covid patients are now hospitalized while the rest in house isolation.
Gurgaon did 4,883 Covid tests on Wednesday.
The city reported 61 Covid deaths until now in 2022 – one on January 10, another on January 12, two on January 14, each on January 15 and 16, two on January 17, 19, 20, three on January 21 , Two on January 22, one on January 23, two on January 24, one on January 26, respectively on January 27, 29 and 30, two on January 31, two on February 1, three in February 3, three on February 4, one on February 5, February 6, one on February 7, two on February 8, two on February 9 on February 11, respectively on February 13 and February 15 on February 15.
A total of 988 Covid patients had died since the pandemic began.
From them, 667 has comorbidity.
The difference in Medical Officer Virender Yadav said Gurgaon witnessed a wave decline now.
“Good active and inpatient cases are dipped, and this is a good sign.
However, people need to be careful because the Delta variant is still unusual and some people who immunocompromised have severe infections,” he added.
