Thane: Kalyan twin cities and dombivli in the Thane Maharashtra district have witnessed a worrying wave in the number of Covid-19 cases once again.
On Monday, the cities collectively reported 68 cases of fresh Coronavirus, an official from Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) informed.
Also, one more person gave up on the virus in the region.
Dombivli East and Kalyan West, which is the most famous area at the KDMC limit, each recorded 25 and 22 cases.
A total of 15 people were positively tested in East Kalyan, while three cases each appeared in Dombivli West and Manda-Titwala.
Mohane did not report a new case on Monday.
The number of recovery has seen a decline in KDMC limits since the last few weeks.
As a result, active cases in the cities once again rose.
On Monday, 56 people were sent home, which pushed the total number of recovery in twin cities to 1.38.282.
At present, 709 people undergo treatment for Covid-19 in Kalyan and Dombivli.
