PUDUCHERRY: The Covid-19 case actively fell below 300-mark in Puducherry on Sunday after the span of seven months.
The area on Monday reported 24 new cases even as 49 patients recovered reduced active cases to 270.
From them, 205 were under isolation and home care.
The Puducherry head office reports maximum new cases with 20 followed by Karaical (4).
Mahe and Yanam did not report new cases.
Puducherry headquarters have a maximum active case with 140 followed by Karaikan (63), MAHE (53) and Yanam (14).
Territory did not report Covid-19 death and remain victims at 1,862.
Puducherry headquarters have maximum death with 1,456 followed by Karaikan (250), Yanam (108) and MAHE (48).
The mortality rate of infection remains at 1.5%.
This region has so far reported 1.28 cases of lakh which 1.26 lakh patients recovered registering the recovery rate of 98.3%.
The sample front level (1,806) tested on Sunday reached 1.3%.
The health care authority has so far tested 19.32 lakh swab samples where 16.35 lakh is restored negatively.
They have managed 11.39 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
They have given one dose to 7.28 people and two doses of up to 4.1 lakh people so far.
