Active Covid-19 case near 2,000 in Gurugram as an infection to see another leap

Gurugram: New Covid infection reported in one day rose sharply on Monday, up to 460 of 358 on Sunday.
The city now has 1,827 cases active, but hospitalizes so far have been a little.
Only 13 of these patients in institutional care, health department data showed.
With a daily peposititivity level also increases towards alarming level, testing has also been increased.
Monday’s front level is 6.8%, which is expected to increase with the number of new covid infections, allegedly driven by the Omicron variant, jumping every day.
As in the second wave, the city contributed most of the new infections reported in Haryana and had 605 active cases of the country.
Faridabad has the most active case after Gurugram, followed by Ambala and Panchkula.
Four new omicron cases, two men and two women, were also reported on Monday.

Their testing report was negative when they arrived at IGI airport, but they tested positive when they underwent another Covid test about seven days after they reached Gurugram.
So far, the city has reported 39 omicron infections.
From this patient, 37 has recovered.
The Ministry of Health has sent 2% of all covid test samples for sequencing genomes to detect the existence of omicron variants.
Meanwhile, after the increase in the case, the Ministry of Health proposed seven other detention zones on Monday.
At present, Gurugram has 21 detention areas.
The proposed new zone includes Pioneer Park (Sector 61), BPTP Mansions Park (Sector 66), Ridgewood Estate (DLF-4), Tower 16 in Central Park Resorts (Sector 48), Tower 6 in Tower Primanti (Sector 72), Tower 2 in Uniworld Gardens (Sector 47) and a house in Sector 51.
The team from the Ministry of Health will conduct a door-to-door and the city of Gurugram’s corporation will regularly clean these areas.
The number of phones of patients in house isolation has been marked by geographical and the police monitor their movements to ensure they live at home.
The detention zone is considered de-notified after two weeks if there is no further surge in the case.
Space capacity of city children has been strengthened if there is a surge in Covid cases in children.
At present, there are 900 pediatric beds, where 228 is an oxygen facility without ventilator and 106 is equipped with a ventilator.
Previously, Gurugram had 809 beds for pediatric patients, including 89 with ventilators.
In the second wave, the city rolled out of the lack of acute oxygen in the hospital for the treatment of covid patients.
The hospital is then directed at increasing their infrastructure to prepare the possibility of other waves to hit the city.
