Activists urge tree transplantation machines in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Activists on Wednesday urged the state government to buy a tree transplant machine in the state to transplant the tree instead of cutting it for development projects.
They also asked the government to stop cutting trees without thinking.
On the last day of Van Mahotsav, Activist Susanta Kumar Sahoo has asked the Head of Minister of Naveen Patnaik to take proactive steps for tree conservation which is the lung of the state.
He has written a message on the wall known as ‘green wall’ and publishes it through different media.
“Typhoon Crone Odisha needs a new transplant machine because we want to create a world where the environment does not need protection.
Save trees for a better future,” read messages written on the green wall.
Sahoo said climate change had submitted a challenge for humanity.
“Odisha has witnessed natural disaster such as cyclones and floods most of the time.
We must try to save broken trees during cyclones.
The main problem is to cut trees with a variety of different development projects.
We do not oppose development work, but we can adopt some changes that will be Useful for the environment, “he added.
Like Sahoo, other activists have emphasized the procurement of tree transplant machines and saved trees from cutting.
Many foreign countries and Indian countries use this machine to transplant trees, which is why the Odisha government must consider this request, he added.
