CHENNAI: Tamil film comedian Charlie has lodged a complaint at the police commissioner’s office to take action against pranksters who created a fake Twitter account in his name.
Charlie on Friday visited the police commissioner office and submitted a complaint.
He told police commissioner Shankar Jiwal that he didn’t have any accounts in social media.
Charlie came to know about the Twitter account profile through one of his friends.
His complaint was forwarded to the cybercrime wing of the city police.
The Twitter administration deleted the handle account as per the request of the cybercrime wing.
