Chennai: Actor Kollywood Meera Mithun was booked by Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police on Sundays under the prevention of Acrocities SC / SC to be suspected of using Casteist slur in a video.
FIR was submitted to the complaint submitted by Vanni Arasu, the leader of Viduthalai Sireshaigal Kaschi.
In a video uploaded on August 7, this actor was seen using a degrading term on the caste schedule.
Meera Mithun seemed to complain about a director for allegedly using his photo for the film’s first look, and said the term condescending directed at the schedule of caste members while condemning him.
Meera Mithun began to abuse all members of the caste schedule.
He continued to make discriminatory comments while asking community members to ‘throw’ from the industry.
Based on complaints of Vanni Arasu, the police have cases submitted in section 153 (by providing provocation with the intention to cause riots), 153A (1), 505 (1) (with the intention to cause, or what is likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public,), 505 (2) IPC and several parts under Prevention of SC / ST acid atrocities.
Reacting to controversy, Head of VCK and MP Tholl Thirumavalavan shared videos on Instagram, called for Meera Mithun to be ordered by the police because he was talking about Dalits under the prevention of sc / st atrocities attacks.
