Surekha Sikri veteran actor died on Friday morning at the age of 75 after a heart attack, his agent said.
In a statement shared with the media, the agent said the actor had suffered complications arising from the second brain stroke.
“The national award-winning actress three times, Sukekha Sikri died after a heart stop this morning at the age of 75.
He suffered complications arising from the second brain stroke,” said the actor agent Vivek Sidhwani.
“He is surrounded by family and his caregivers.
The family asks for privacy at this time.
Om Sai Ram,” he added.
Sikri has suffered a brain stroke in September last year and was dismissed after a few days.
The most famous national national award-winning actor because of his appearance in ‘Tamas’, ‘Mammo’, ‘Salim Langde PE Mat Ro’, ‘Zubeidaa’, ‘Badhaai Ho’ and the ‘Balika Vadhu’ daily soap.
Sikri was last seen in the ‘ghost story’ anthology (2020), in the story directed by Zoya Akhtar.
He survived his son Rahul Sikri.
