MUMBAI: Santa Cruz police Monday arrested a little time movie actress and her buddy for allegedly caught in possession and ingestion of charas at a Juhu established five star hotel area throughout the week end hours.
Acting to a tip-off obtained, the authorities raided the hotel and arrested the duo.
Authorities said the celebrity checked into the resort together with her friend on Sunday night to celebrate her birthday.
Following the party, she and her friend went into their own suite-room.
“The area had been first staged at 3am and we discovered the duo in possession of a single gram of Charas, rolled to cigarettes,” said that the authorities.
Authorities said the duo had been taken into custody and sent to medical evaluation, which affirmed their intake of prohibited drugs.
The duo were reserved under relevant segments of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act and also created at a courtroom, in which they had been allowed bail.
They were subsequently made before the court and have been released on bond.
