Letter: City police on Friday broke the emergency laboratory in the office to make Mephedrone forbid Sarthana and arrest the owner identified as Jaimin Savani.
The police confiscated 22 kg of monomethyl and at least 20 other equipment and chemicals used in making mephedrone drugs.
The name Savani has emerged during the interrogation of Pravin Bishnoi who was arrested by the Special Operations Group (SOG) on Wednesday from the limit of the Puna Police Station when entering the city with 58.53 grams of MD worth Rs 5.85 Lakh.
Savani used to buy MD from Bishnoi who took him from Rajasthan.
Savani has planned to produce MD in his office after watching videos on the internet.
He has taken material from the online website and its local contact.
However, he was nabbed before he could start making.
“Savani did not get some chemicals needed to make MD.
He plans to sell this product later, police said.
Savani is addicted to MD during locking with his friends.
A native Bhavnagar, Savani has started the office to find work but after a pandemic Global he plans to make drugs in the office.
“Because of the tightness of the police, we can catch Savani and prevent it from making medicine,” said Commissioner of the City of Ajay Tomar.
