Ranchi: Additional District Judge (ADJ) from Dhanbad District died after being hit by a vehicle as he came out to walk in the morning, the police said on Wednesday.
Uttam Anand was walking in the morning when a vehicle destroyed it near Colony Magistrate in Dhanbad.
He was treated at the nearest hospital where he gave up on his injury.
Initially, the police treated him as an unknown person.
However, then in family members approached the police after the body was identified.
No one was arrested in connection with the case so far.
Uttam posted on Dhanbad six months ago.
