Thiruvananthapuram: State police have made all security settings in the Sabarimala for my upcoming Mandalam-Makaravilak season, said the National Police Chief Anil Kant.
ADGP (crime branch) Sreejith will be the coordinator of the Head of the Police for Sabianimala and the closest places, while IG (South Zone) Harshitha Attalloori will be a joint police coordinator.
Dig (Battalion of Armed Police) P Prakash and Dig (Thiruvananthapuram Range) Gori Sanjay Kumar Gurudin will be an additional police coordinator.
The pilgrimage season has been divided into five phases for security purposes.
In the first phase from 15 to 30 November, while the Premkumar SP (crime) will be a police controller in Sannidhanam, SP (Malappuram crime) KV Santhosh and SP (Crime Palakkad) K Salim will be a police controller in Pamba and Nitackal, respectively.
In the second phase from November 30 to December 14, SP (Kannur Crime) Prajeesh Thotthathil, additional AIG Anand R, SP (Crime Head Office) K V Mahesh Das each will be a police controller in Sannidhanam, Pamba and Nitackal.
The third phase is from December 16 to 26, where SP (Alappuzha crime) Prasanthan Kani, ASP (Nedumangad) Raj Prasad and SP (Ernakulam crime) M J Jajan each will be a police controller in Sannidhanam, Pamba and Nilackal.
