Florida: Aditi Ashok India fired 3-under 67 in the opening round of the Pelican Women’s Golf Tournament in Bellair in LPGA.
The 23-year-old player, who tried to close the last event of the season before the tourist championship with great records, 14th tied with former world No.
1 New Zealand Lydia Ko.
Aditi, who is currently lying 85th on the race to the CME globe rank, is trying to increase its last position, which will allow it to enter a more limited field event.
He had four birdies and no Bogey until the 15th before he dropped a bogey on the day when he found 13 of 14 fairways and reached 11 out of 18 green in regulations.
Leona Maguire opened with a lower turn.
His free Bogey appearance, 8-below 62 at the Pelican golf club was the second lowest score of his career, only better by 10-below 61 in 2021 Amunti Evian Championship.
Maguire played partnered Sei Young Kim (64) and Lexi Thompson (65) also had a solid start.
Kim sat in a second solo, two shots behind Maguire, while Thompson led a group of seven bound in third position at 5 below.
