Ranchi: Jharkhand Congress of the President and Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon on Monday urged all adiviasis to remain united, advise them not to be misled by anyone or any party trying to define them with certain religions.
Overcoming the ceremony supervised by the State Party unit to annoy tribal achievements / workers in various sectors on the occasion of world native Days, Oraon said, “Trading is one and must remain united.” Without naming any party, he said, “Over the past few years, we all know that a particular party tries to divide the tribe to be a different religious for Vothebank’s politics.
Sometimes, they equate them and at other times, with Sarna and so on.
In the state like Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir, many tribes are Muslims.
But once you are born the tribe, you will always be a tribe.
So the adivasis must refuse to be divided into religious lines.
“Oraon warning is probably the pointer to BJP which often accuses Missionaries change tribes to Christianity which states that the tribe, followers of Sarna, is a Santatan (Hindu) student.
He also appealed to the tribes to be vigilant and realized their rights to JAL (water), jangal (forest) and zameen (soil).
“It is an upa government led by the congress who brought the Law of Forestry Rights, the Law of Pesa, among others to maintain the rights of tribes and forest residents.
The coalition government in the country works in the right implementation of these laws in Toto,” he said .
